Quick answers
Questions parents ask
For anything else, just ask Marlee.
How many children are there?
A small mixed-age group with Marlee as the only teacher. Numbers are set by the family childcare license; Marlee will share the current roster on your tour.
Does my child need to be potty trained?
No. Two-year-olds arrive at every stage of potty training, and Marlee works on it with you, in step with home.
Do I need to speak Spanish at home?
Not at all. Children pick it up here, and families who do speak Spanish find it welcomed.
Are there any pets?
Yes — a friendly labradoodle lives in the home. If your child has allergies or is unsure around dogs, mention it before your consultation so Marlee can talk it through.
What happens in bad weather?
The children still go out in the right coat and boots. On extreme weather days, garden time happens indoors with a motor activity.
How will I know how the day went?
Updates with photos and little moments from the day, plus a friendly handover at pickup.
Can my child attend part-time?
Nido Del Sol is a full-day program, five days a week. There is a little flexibility — talk it through with Marlee during your consultation.
